The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Conference Center is located in the historic downtown section of Poughkeepsie just blocks from the waterfront. The hotel is ten minutes from the Culinar Institute of America Marist College Vassar College and IBM. All guest receive a full complimentary breakfast daily. Must be at least 21 years old to reserve a room.

I went to a wedding here two summers ago and it had the most beautiful view of the hudson. Great place to have any sort of reception and exceptionally nice staff. Would love to go to another event here.

One of my proms was held here, and it really is a beautiful hotel. Obviously, it is expensive, but it's one of the nicest hotels in the area, if not the nicest.

based on previous reviews, we went into the experience expecting the worst but hoping for the best. We were there for a family wedding, so we were prepared to go with the flow - after all, we were only spending 2 nights. WHAT a surprise we were in for! We have NO complaints about anything!
