The sushi here is mediocre. It isn't horrible, but it is pretty close to the sort of stuff one might pick up in a supermarket and be satisfied with at 4 AM. I would only go here again if the other two sushi restaurants in waking distance suddenly disappeared.
Pros: location, outdoor seating with view of drunk college students, rarely a wait
Cons: so-so sushi

Worst Service of My Life Reviewed by HelloMetro User on

I am writing this today after spending 70 dollars on the worst service of my life. Oh, and for those that are wondering, I have eaten at truck stops in the middle of Idaho with waiters that smoke while talking to you. Yes! This was the worst service I have ever had in my life. In fact, it was the first time in my life that I didn't leave a tip. Not a penny.
So how did my first and only night at Neko's start???
I walk in with my fiance, and ask for a table for 3, we were meeting a friend. An old, bitter woman walks away after I tell her the number, and one of the sushi chefs says: 3? Over there... Motions us to an area with four empty tables. When I start walking towards the table the bitter woman appears again, and points to a seat. She then leaves.
About a minute later our friend arrives. He sits after we stand up and show him our table.
The lady, who I haven't decided yet if she is a hostess or waitress comes to take our drink order. We order a large Saki and 2 22oz Sappo
